Make-up for me is a great tool to make my self feel more confident, but that dosent mean that without it i feel horrible. It just gives me a boost, especially in the mornings when im tired putting on make-up wakes me up and i feel slightly more confident but also pretty..

And also i read an article about a study that said that women how wear make-up and glasses giv a better impression in the workplace compared to women who dont wear make-up but wear glasses.

I think for most women, make up gives them some kind of boost.
I know that, when I'm feeling slightly down or my face isn't feeling as bright as it normally is, I'll make my eyes appear big and bold which makes me feel fierce, and somewhat happy!

Also, when women have flaws I think they'll wear makeup everyday just to cover it and boost their confidence.

    (:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I do feel as though I should appreciate how I naturally look, but wearing make up makes me feel (and look) beautiful. It makes me feel feminine and light - and yes, I daresay that it does affect my confidence. I feel happier to socialize with others and I think that it helps me fit in with my fellow students a bit more.

Make-up for me is so essential. It changes my whole personality.
I had a makeover recently - when I walked out the beauty parlour, i dont think i have ever fely so good in myself, from the swish of my skirt to a coiuple of guys being quite complimentary as I walked by.
Make up helps me me so much more than give me confience

I Wear Makeup But Not Tonnes And Tonnes Of It, It Shouldn't Be Used For Confidence Because People Should Feel Confident In Themselves And Should Be Able To Go Out Sometimes Without Makup On. People Who Don't Have Enough Confidence Should Try To Work On Building More Confidence Instead Of Using Makeup As A Cover Up.

    Ooh!
This is a really interesting topic for me and one I hope develops as it's something I'd like to address in my blog http://emilyandtheinstantpretty.blogspot.com/
I personally feel much more confident when I've got makeup on, not tonnes of it obviously but I feel that makeup is just an integral part of being a woman. It's a choice that we are completely free to make. No, nobody 'needs' to wear makeup but we can if we want to express ourselves or just feel confident and 'pretty' before going out into the world.
