I get that some ranges that claim to be organic when they actually lack certification. Assuming that a range is so certified organic that it is edible, will it actually work? or will there be so little active ingredient that hoping for better skin will have similar results??

There are certain ranges in the market place that claim to be 100% organic but as you have quite rightly said, there is no certification to prove this. However, there are also brands which are genuinely organic and do offer fantstic results because of the science behind the development of the product. Arbonne in particular has a wide range of products for varying age ranges and all of the products are so pure they are certified vegan. Results are quick and the products are good value for money. I use the products myself and am very pleased with the way my skin looks. Also, after doing quite a lot of research on the ingredients that go into top name brands, I won't use anything other than organic skincare again!
