Etat Libre d’Orange, meaning the free state of orange, is an unconventional perfumery that specialises in niche, avant-garde fragrances. South African born founder, Etienne de Swardt, spent time training at the house of Givenchy before creating his collection of scents inspired by the body's senses. The philosophy behind this Paris-based brand is to push boundaries and encourage freedom of speech, but despite the unusual ideology his fragrances are incredibly wearable. We love Jasmine et Cigarette which combines tobacco, amber, apricot and jasmin to create a deep musky scent.
