Summer's Hot Nail Shades
When it comes to nails this summer, anything goes. The season’s spectrum of ‘it’ colours mean you can be on-trend with the flash of a brush – and a colour you love. The only hard part is choosing which one.
Creamy, matte finishes still look fresh, as do peach and nude shades, which will work as well this summer as they did last. We particularly love Revlon’s Nail Enamel in Tropical Temptation, £6.16.
Thanks to the 80s vibe, which fashion just can’t seem to shake at the moment, metallic shades – ‘out’ for the last few seasons – are creeping back in, and we like Avon’s Nailwear Pro in Decadence, £5, a deep purple that will make your blazer-over-body-con-dress combo sing.
What’s brand new is blue, preferably in bold shades of aqua and royal. Essie’s Mesmerise, £8.95, was everywhere at Fashion Week in February and we’ve clocked Pop’s Nail Glam in Turquoise out and about, too.
