Geometric Eyes
The best looks on the a/w 09 catwalks showed that this is the season to get creative. At Paul Smith and Sinha Stanic eyes were given a geometric twist with a cyber-chic version of fifties, feline liner. Yohji Yamamoto’s new take on smoky eyes was an exaggerated line running from inside the eye, all the way to the brow and smudged at the edges to soften. While at Luella’s show, striking, curved lines were slicked under eyes. Try it in black like Luella, or play with bold coloured liners like Barry M’s liquid liner, £4.95, available in rainbow colours. For dare-to-wear party looks, be more creative still and look to Miu Miu and Dior where bold colours and super sized lashes were the order of the day.
