Minimal Make-up
The minimal make-up look is the holy grail of beauty as unless you have perfect skin it is almost always trickier to get right than any heavy, full blown party look. On the catwalks it was seen from Burberry Prorsum to Jil Sander, where make -up was clean and simple. The key to this look is the right base, essential when creating a super clear complexion that should be even and just a little dewy (not too shiny). Next the lips which can be blotted with a rose pink stain and finally the eyes - frame with subtle putty shadows and a quick slick of mascara. If you want to get technical - contouring will add depth to the look - a light bronzer slicked along the base of cheek bones and a subtle highlighter above (we love Benefit High Beam, £15.50) will give you the appearance of model bone structure in no-time.
