Nude Glossy Lips
Nude, glossy lips are like the LBD of make-up – they go with everything. ‘Effortless with any look from natural to tanned, bare faced beauty to full-on glamour,’ explains Jamie Coombes, Dior’s National Make-up Artist. On the catwalk at D&G, nude lips were paired with polished make-up and sleek hair, exuding high maintenance. While at Donna Karan, chic waves and subtle shimmer gave nude lips a beachy vibe. For a party look, take inspiration from Gucci and Roberto Cavalli where pale, glossy lips were worn with smoky eyes. Another look for night was Missoni’s molten, gold eyes with shimmering, pale lips. Work an edgier version by taking your cue from Peter Som where nude lips were worn with high-colour on cheeks and eyes.
