Thanks to my new found love (read: obsession) for the gym. I've opened up a whole new wardrobe of opportunity!

First stop, Sweaty Betty (sweatybetty.com), it's pricey but everything makes you look like a pro gym-bunny which is saying something since I am very definitely not one (yet). I snapped up a pair of 10k Tights, £50, with a drawstring waistband so they won't fall down whilst running - they're perfect. I also mentally spent a month's salary but managed to extract myself from the store before handing over one of my credit cards.

Next, spiritual beauty brand Rituals (rituals.com) has launched home & yoga wear, the fabrics are super soft and comfy - ideal for yoga and Pilates, while the vests are great for the gym. I'm loving the Tanktop Chakra, £21.90, which is a simple racer-back with flattering ruche detail at the sides. I'm also coveting the T-shirt Shanti, £29.90, a long-sleeved linen top which will be perfect for throwing on post-workout come the summer.

I'm going to give barefoot running a go, but being a bit OCD about hygiene I'll be protecting my feet with Merrell's new Barefoot Womens’ Pace Glove, £82 (merrell.com), which they’ve created in collaboration with Vibram (the experts in barefoot running shoes). They’re super lightweight and have the same effect as running sans shoes, but without actually having to get your feet dirty. I'll keep you posted with how I get on...

Finally, when it comes to sports bras, I won't wear anything other than Shock Absorber (shockabsorber.co.uk), they're brilliant. Check out my sports bra and a host of other great workout gear, here...
