Lets start with the skin. Anne is resolutely pale, but its the not-so-subtle contouring that gives this look its strength. Use Hourglass Illume Creme to Powder Bronze Duo, £40, and a blunt brush. Make up artist James Kaliardos used a combo of light and dark shimmering shadows to create the strong smoky eye. Use Nars Dual Intensity Shadow in Dione, £21, as a base, winged out from the lashline and below the lashes too.
The key: a very bold brow. If you're pale, even better. Anne's extreme brow is what pulls this whole look together. If you can't go black, go dark brown and comb Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara, £4.99 up into brows.

The lip: A deep berry red is so winter appropriate, you should aim to stock up. Start with this deep, warm burgundy shade (James used Nars Audacious Lipstick in Charotte, £24), its a suit-all shade. Layer gloss over the top for more pop.
