Charlotte describes her line by expressing how she has 'stolen the beauty DNA' of each of them to advocate their talent and influence as powerful, strong women. She has also teamed up with the charity Women For Women International so £1 from each lipstick sold will be donated to support this cause.

Amongst the line-up of celebs is Cindy Crawford, Helena Bonham-Carter, Salma Hayek, Liv Tyler, Penelope Cruz and Emily Ratajkowski, whose shade Charlotte describes as 'Seventies retro, a Charlie's Angels coral we always create for her, she's so incredibly sexy'.

'Also Kim Kardashian-West's shade is that pale nude-pink that just suits her so well, this is just the Kim colour. We simply called it Kim KW - I got the go-ahead from the 'momager'!'added Tilbury.

The partnership with Women for Women International was visibly important to Charlotte when she describes how passionate she felt about what the charity supports. We were joined by Executive Director of Women for Women International who expressed her admiration for Charlotte's passion for the project:

'In Bosnia 20 years ago, where it's estimated that 50,000 women were raped during the conflict, we did all we could think of to help and when we asked the women out there if there was anything else at all we could bring them - they said lipstick. Women said they wanted the snipers to know they were killing a beautiful woman. That's why this partnership is so perfect, and Charlotte's passion for the project is so wonderful and so real.'

The plan is to raise awareness through the campaign with the hashtag #lipstickconfidence on social media, supported by all 12 celebrities and Charlotte.

Women for Women International founded in 1993, has helped women in countries affected by war and conflict by teaching them about their rights, business skills to thewith key life, vocational and  to help them break free from poverty.  Their collaboration wuth Charlotte Tilbury's Hot Lips will initially launch online at charlottetilbury.com and her flagship store from 27th June, and nationwide from July 4, priced at £23 each.
