While most celebrities secure fashion and beauty endorsements left and right, Angelina Jolie has not been as keen to jump on board as the face of a brand. First of all, she's largely stayed out of the public eye following news about her divorce with Brad Pitt. Second, she's focused most of her appearances on being about her humanitarian work. That makes today's news all the more major: Guerlain Parfumeur announced Jolie as the face of their new fragrance for women, Mon Guerlain.

"We create perfumes for the women we admire," Jacques Guerlain said. The brand's master perfumer, Thierry Wasser, drew inspiration from Jolie to create a scent that evokes "the choices, emotions, and dreams that embody modern femininity." According to Guerlain, Jolie has donated all of her pay from the campaign to charity. It wasn't disclosed which charity, but she is a Special Envoy of the UN Refugee Agency and co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative.

Jolie\'s campaign teaser

Jolie hasn't had a major beauty campaign since being the face of Shiseido back in 2007–and that was exclusive to Asia only. This time around, the partnership was agreed on while Jolie was in Cambodia in December 2015 directing First They Killed My Father. Apparently, she had a special interest in Guerlain because she recalled her mother using a powder from the brand.

There are no further details about Mon Guerlain, but the fragrance will debut this March.
