Berry lips tend to scare a lot of us. It's a bold, dark hue, which few of us are prepared to wear on a daily basis. However, Kerry Washington revealed a more wearable way to use it on the red carpet last night. "By staining the colour, the lipstick mattifies, making it impossible to smear" says Bobbi Brown's Pro Make-Up Artist Hannah Martin. The Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Colour in Crushed Plum, £21, is an exact match for this look.
We can't stop talking about Olivia Culpo's extravagant red-carpet dress. Using colours within the dress, and matching her skin tone, the former beauty queen mixed rose and gold hues on her eyelids. With Zoeva's Nude Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette, £28.50, mix together shades 10 and 70, and blend across the whole lid. Once the colour is applied, use the gold (shade 40) and apply it to the centre of the lid. Complete the look with a coating of Chanel's Le Volume De Chanel Mascara in Noir, £25.
