MAC's Director of Makeup Artistry, James Molloy is our backstage insider in Paris. Working on the biggest shows, he helps create the trends before we even see them. This is what Fashion Week looks like for him.

The look: White painted lids at Kenzo, created by Aaron de Mey.

I'm obsessed: With the custom Kenzo nails, pre-prepared for the show by Naomi Yasuda using MAC Lacquers.

I used: A MAC mascara fan brush - to get just the right amount of Chromacake texture painted across eyelids.

I spotted: Hair, hair and more hair. Masses of extensions were used to add thickness and length to models' hair.

I loved: Kenzo's statement ponchos with flower details on hoods.

I was wowed: By the moving holographic walls on the incredible Kenzo runway. Pretty hypnotic.
