In a season that has largely about subtle details rather than big statements, the Saab look excelled on that front too. Orlando Pita spent his final afternoon in Paris spray painting thin strips of metal gold, adding elastic and using his homemade hair accessories to bind low, side-swept ponytails that came a glassy-smooth finish.
Which only left Anatole Rainey to mix up a four-shade custom blend of MACs Anti Fashion, Quiet Time, Snob and St Germain lacquers to add a flash of grey-y, pinky, purply, taupe-y nail that set off one of the key colours in the collection.
And with a barrette-like accessory, bruised nail shade and bold eye that was a wrap on Paris and a final curtain call for our SS13 shows.
