After a month of shows, we've seen twists, we've seen turns, ponies and topknots. But if there's one word that's chimed out over and over again, it has to be "easy". Having created a "two day old blow dry" backstage at Celine earlier today, Guido pressed on to the Palais de Chaillot to create another yes, "easy" style at Akris.
Leaving Diane Kendel to accent the face with a simple slick of YSL’s Rouge Volupte No 17 Red Muse lipstick, Guido combed hair into a deep side part before securing it in a nape-skimming pony and twisting Redken Powder Refresh 03 dry shampoo into the tail for a “natural movement”.

“This season, hair is not making a huge statement, It’s about ease – but the right kind of ease. It looks lived-in but still has a richness to it,” said the maestro.

So forget ‘fresh out of the salon' blow dries, from New York to Paris, laidback hair is going to be our favourite way to let our hair fly through the air with the greatest of ease.
