Colour is the big thing in hair at the moment - so big in fact that our own Editor In Chief has swapped her blonde for a purply-grey shade for LFW. But if (like me) you're not brave enough to take the permanent colour plunge but still want to experiment with shades, then the new wave of wash-out hair chalks will better news for you.
This morning backstage at Felder Felder, L'Oreal Professionels Johnny Engstrom created 'mermaid hair' using these new Hair Chalks (launching Nov). Unlike the dryer ones available these are liquid so you can paint them straight on and in four minutes you're good to go. Plus they come out in three washes making then perfect for weekend/holiday/festival hair.
Felder and Felder girls were given wet look style to look like they'd just emerged from the ocean.
Blonde girls tips were painted with Coral Sunset and brunettes Ocean Blue.
The wetlook doesnt score highly on wearability points but we'll definitely be mixing up our beachy hair come spring with these.
