There wasn't one specific beauty 'look' at today's show, instead Donna Karen wanted to celebrate the diversity of New York and it's people by simply enhancing the models personal style. So if their trademark was a bright red lip that's what they showcased on the catwalk.
Over half of the casting was done on the street, with no particular criteria other than an exploration of individuality. A refreshing and brilliant mash-up of people from all different backgrounds, races and sexes.
The cast included rappers Angel Haze and a member of ASAP Rocky's crew, big New York DJ's alongside supermodels like Sam Rollinson.
