First our Beauty Assistant Joely Walker used the Photo Op Eye Shadow Trio in Auto Expose to create a soft smoky eye with the help of Smashbox's Pro Lead Artist Lori Taylor. Next, I showed you how to use the trio as a powder liner. Today, our intern Joely Walker has tried out another look that Taylor advised.
'Lately I've seen a replay of shadow applied in the crease, which is very 80's (my generation) I kinda love this throw back look! Combining the middle and lightest shade and applying with a blending brush (think Smashbox Cosmetics brush #10) is the perfect way to define the crease softly!' said Taylor.
If you want an even more subtle look Taylor suggests using the, 'lightest pink shade as a wash of colour applied from the lash line to just under the brow, this tone really helps to brighten the lids.' You can even use the palest shadow as a highlighter on cheek bones.
