I love Emma's textural eye make-up at last night's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere in New York.

The actress told reporters on the red carpet, 'New York is such a fashion capital, I felt I could push the envelope a bit. With London I went a bit more classic but for today I wanted to do something edgier.'

What made her eyes really stand out was the interesting mix of textures, a trend - according to make-up artists at Rimmel and Bobbi Brown - that is going to be huge come autumn.

There was the dark, black, matte powder dusted over the lid and, unusually, blended up to the inner brow. A shimmering gold in the centre corner ensured Emma's eyes popped. While flaked gold leaf, dotted at the outer corner of each eye, gave the look yet another dimension.

With such an attention-grabbing eye, the rest of Emma's make-up was kept flawless and bare with no blush or lip colour on show.

However, she did continue the 'edgy' look with her hair, which was slicked into a high-shine, severe side parting; a style she rocked at this year's ELLE Style Awards back in February, where she exclusively told us she was growing her hair.

What do you think of Emma's edgier look?
