When it came to definitive trends, it looked like lips were pulling ahead earlier this week in Paris. Yet today it was the eyes that had it.
After wed gone green at Stella McCartney, graphic black at Leonard and glossy at Valli earlier in the day, Diane Kendal opted for some heavy metal with a shimmering lid in rusty copper.
As if taking her cue from the new shape seen at Leonard, Kendal rejected classic cats eyes and instead made oblong the word du jour. Keeping the face clean with a smidgen of concealer just where needed, she squared off eyelids with a swipe of MAC Greasepaint in Smoked Paprika before patting the PRO Pigment in Copper over the top.
Suffering from a severe case of snivels, shakes and must fight it fatigue, (what we doctors call fashion flu) Guido struggled on, making a nod to the collections sixties reference when creating a deep side parting that was a bit Twiggy, a bit boyish.
