Of all the models and celebrities I have met Karlie Kloss is the loveliest. It was so easy to chat with her I sort of forgot she imminently had one of London's biggest shows, Burberry, to walk for. Cool as a cucumber, she just seemed so happy to be there - dressed in a classic Burberry trench she was show-ready having been in hair and make-up nice and early.

It may seem strange, but Karlie hasn't worked with Burberry before. 'But you're like the perfect Burberry girl,' I exclaimed. 'No, I'm American, that's a deal-breaker!' she joked.

'I love Burberry,' Karlie told me. 'I'm excited, as it's my first time walking for them'. While the model loves the brand and has a few pieces in her wardrobe she revealed that she doesn't own a classic Burberry trench. 'I might have to speak to Christopher about that!'

Backstage, hairstylist Neil Moodie told me the show hair had a very subtle sixties sort of Mod vibe to it.'This is one of the first shows that has really embraced my short hair, they usually put hair extensions in,' Karlie told me of her newish bob (she had it cut back in November). 'But it sort of fits with the sixties feel of the show today'.

And it wasn't just the trench and hair Karlie was loving, 'oh, the make-up is just the sort I like - simple, clean, elegant. Wendy [Rowe - the make-up artist] just gave me the eyeshadow called Gold Trench that's being used in the show today and it's the perfect shade for everyday, it gives just enough definition. It's my new staple'.

When she's not being made over for shows and shoots, Karlie keeps things simple. 'I'm really boring! I like basic products with no fragrance. My friend just recommended a Dermalogica moisturiser that I've been using lately'.

Well, Karlie I think you're anything but boring, in fact I think I may be a little starstruck by the gorgeous Ms Kloss.

See who else jumped in the Burberry Beauty Booth with Karlie...
