I was fortunate enough to be invited along to Paris last week for the unveiling of the newest fragrance from Givenchy, LIntense. The latest incarnation of Very Irrésistible has taken on a rockier edge reflecting the direction of the fashion house, under the reign of Riccardo Tisci. A gorgeous Liv Tyler, the face of the brand since 2003, introduced the new perfume and Françoise Donche, Creative Director for Fragrance and nose, talked us through how the fragrance was constructed. Describing it as a floral musk, Donche says it reflects the return of the woman, the little girl is in danger. It contains patchouli and plum but retains its original heart of Turkish rose.
