How-to: Agyness Deyn’s fresh-faced make-up

I love how fresh faced Agyness Deyn looked at a party in Los Angeles yesterday, proving that you don't need tons of make-up to turn heads. While this might not be right for a Saturday night out, it is the perfect everyday make-up.

The key to this look is perfect skin, get yourself a good quality cleanser (click here for ELLE's top picks ), I can't stress this enough - without a thorough cleanse your moisturiser won't be able to work to its full potential. Use a nourishing moisturiser like Institut Esthederm's Molecular Care Intensive Vitamin C Cream, £57.60 (feelunique.com), it's pricey but it leaves my skin plump and dewy, while also looking brighter and less pigmented.

Next go for a creamy textured base like a liquid foundation and blend it into skin using your finger tips or buff in using MAC's Short Duo Fibre Brush, £28 (maccosmetics.co.uk); I love Max Factor's Xperience Weightless Foundation, £9.99 or Rimmel's Recover Foundation, £7.19 (both at Boots.com). To get that dewy finish, highlight cheekbones, nose and forehead by padding on MAC's Strobe Liquid Lotion, £21.50. Apply a little pink colour to cheeks with Urban Decay's new Afterglow Glide-on Cheek Tint in Score, £18 (debenhams.com) and a slick of balm like Rose & Co Rose Petal Salve, £5 (houseoffraser.co.uk), to the lips and you're good to go. Simple.
