L'Occitane takes Gold at The Chelsea Flower Show

By Suzanne Scott

EBT favourite, L’Occitane, is a regular at The Chelsea Flower show and this year their spectacular garden has won the RHS Gold Medal. Designed by Peter Dowle who has, in the past, won eight Gold Medals at the annual show, the garden takes its inspiration from Corsica and the Immortelle plant which is the key ingredient in L’Occitane’s Immortelle line (see below: L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream, £67). The plant grows in organic fields in Corsica and stimulates collagen production, boosts microcirculation and protects the skin against free-radicals. As well as Immortelle the garden features other plants that grow naturally in Corsica such as myrtle, lavender, daisies and verbena, all nestled around an idyllic sandy beach and rock pool. It’s a little piece of heaven in the middle of Chelsea.
