It’s not often that the beauty and design worlds collide but they have with Kenzo’s latest fragrance, MadlyKENZO. Designer/architect Ron Arad has been drafted in to create a totally stunning and entirely unique bottle for the brand’s new eau de toilette and eau de parfums. This is the man who has brought us the Pizza-Cobra (a coiled, touch sensitive lamp) and who has designed the main pedestrian bridge in the 2012 Olympic village. Now, we’re not too clued up on design here on EBT but the guys over at ELLE Decoration assure us that this is big deal.

But, back to what we do know – the new fragrances have been designed by Perfumer Aurélien who created both fragrances without so much as a brief from the brand. The eau de toilette [£49 for 50ml] is light and fresh with opening notes of pear and litchi and the eau de parfum [£54.50 for 50ml] (our favourite) is a bit darker with a cedar, insense and vanilla dry down.
