The downright gorgeous Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr has revealed she swears by coconut oil, revealing she attributes her clear skin and glossy hair to the oil. And since sharing her health and beauty secret, Holland & Barrett has seen sales of the product spike by a whopping 50 percent!
The super includes four tablespoons of the stuff into her diet everyday without fail, drizzling it over salads, using it in cooking and adding it to her green tea (no, I'm not sure about that last combo either). Coconut oil is not just edible, it can be used topically on hair and skin to condition and moisturise.
'I've been drinking it since I was 14 and it’s the one thing I can’t live without,' said Miranda. 'I will not go a day without coconut oil.'
But be warned, while it's packed with good fats it's also high in saturated fat, so don't go mad eating it, you'd be better off slathering it on.
