In weather like this (arctic gales, falling snow and just general FREEZINGNESS) there is only one thing I really want. No it’s not a cashmere hat, a new pair of mittens or even a spare heater for my flat, it is in fact Jergen’s Age Defying body moisturiser. Okay so I might be easily pleased but the truth is this is the only thing that stops my skin from practically cracking up in the cold. Not only is it packed with antioxidants (green tea extract) to help prevent skin-ageing, it has the silkiest consistency of any body lotion I’ve tried and so sinks in immediately and without trace. It’s rich too though, so one application post shower or bath is enough to last you for hours. At the moment I’m getting through about a bottle a week, such is my dire need for skin hydration but hey, when a winter miracle comes priced at £3.33, I can afford to.
