Next door to Meadham Kirchhoff, designer Nasir Mazhar was preparing for his show at the Topshop show space. Alex Brownsell, founder of Bleach London, was tasked with creating a different hairstyle for every model, while Sharmadean Reid and her Wah team were busy painting bright, bold nail art on extra long talons. I especially loved the orange and black zebra print nails that matched model Scarlet's eyeshadow.

Alex told me, 'The looks were all individual, modern adaptations of 1920's show girls and Jamaican dance hall queens. Some of the hats were made to look like kiss curls, so the hair brought that out even more.'
