We may be in the city of all things nail art but NYFW SS13 is taking an altogether more subtle approach to tips next summer.
When we first saw Sally Hansen's Sheer Beige topping talons at Alexander Wang (below), we admired it's understated sophistication. Then came New York naturals by the bottle load.
At Tibi (below), Dashing Diva Design FX Colour Wraps came in pale pink Petal Pusher on hands and white Stark Statement on toes.
Essie showed her support to the nude cause with a single slick of her classic neutral, Fed Up at DKNY (below) - followed by what lead nail technician, Michelle Saunders called a "fresh, clean and pristine mani" with Kate Middleton's wedding day favourite, Allure at DVF.
Forget dressing them up to the nines, as far as NYFW tells it so far, all the best nails next season will look like they're naked.
