Port Eliot festival is unlike any other, a collision of the arts, music, food and beauty. Sprawled across the expansive grounds of the Port Eliot estate owned by Lord and Lady St German, in Saltash Cornwall, the event attracts a different kind of festival goer.

Joining hair stylist Neil Moodie in the Bumble and bumble tent over the weekend was milliner Stephen Jones (who has created head-pieces for the likes of Gwen Stefani and Beyonce). Gone were the hats (except for a very stylish number on his own head), and in their place cans and cans of coloured hairsprays with which Jones could work his creative magic.

Armed with a book containing images of all the incredible paintings that don the walls of the Port Eliot stately home, Jones re-imagined his subjects (who else but the festival goers themselves) with Renaissance hairstyles and accessories. The results were his own sketches of using ink and hairsprays for colour - a true collaboration between fashion and beauty if ever we saw one.

As if that weren't fabulous enough, Neil Moodie’s crack team of stylists then recreated Jones’ visions on obliging tent visitors' own hair. Not one to miss a spot of pampering, EBT were first in line!
