Okay, so my attempt to bring the scrunchie back was ill-fated but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the blast-from-the-past hairstyle I'm attempting to bring back to life this month - The Twisted Pony.
Do you remember when you would pop your hair up in to a ponytail, make a hole and stuff your hair through - either under or over - to get a different twisted style? Well, unlike a scrunchie adorned up-do, this is an understated and pretty chic version of a ponytail. What do you think? Will you be reviving this old-school 90s look? I know I will.
Update: On Facebook just now Jean Standley reminded me of the plastic tools you used to be able to get that helped create this hairstyle with ease. Well, I say used to... because I only just discovered that Topsy Tails are stocked at Boots.com of all places! Right under our noses all this time...
