The first model we bumped into backstage was the beautiful Bette Franke, chatting to her friend before run through. Bette, if you're reading this forgive me for staring - I was in awe of your glowing, super luxe beauty look (and your cheekbones).
This is classic Chloe, gone is last year's more androgynous take, for spring summer 14 the Chloe girl is gorgeously understated, clearly has her skincare routine down to a T and looks like she spends her time reading classic novels in hotel Costes. We want in.
Diane Kendall for MAC cosmetics used MAC Luminous Skin Foundation for dewy coverage, brushed up the models' brows and contoured for soft-yet-statement cheek bones (see Bette, I really was looking at the make-up). To balance the look Diane lined their eyes - top and bottom - with MAC Pencil in Duck and for a more lived-in feel she dipped a cotton bud in moisturiser and smudged the edges.
Over to backstage hair guru and all-round nice guy James Pecis, who wanted to create an 'intelligent and luxe style' for his debut as Chloe's lead stylist. 'This is super straight hair that is still full of body' James told us. To get the fullness he used Bedhead Queen for a Day and applied clip-in extensions for extra oomph.
