Two big shows today Giambattista Valli and Emanuel Ungaro and two similar looks.
This morning at Valli the look was modern - Orlando Pita lacquered hair back by blow-drying with hairspray, while Val Garland used a flat, square brush and a glittering gloss to add an angular swipe of sheen at the outer corner of eyes.
This afternoon at Ungaro we saw straight hair and shimmer in a more classic guise. Guido used Redken Satinwear 02 (that doubles as a blow-dry lotion and heat protectant) to create a sleek blow-dry that he called 'easy hair with quality'.
Over in make-up Tom Pecheux was 'fighting against natural' that we have seen at more Paris shows than we can count, masterminding a rich look by patting MAC Fluidline in hold onto eyelids and creating a multidimensional nude lip applying a mauve nude all over and patting a little pink nude in the centre.
Luxurious, yet understated.
