After so many natural make-up looks I was pleased to be the last UK journalist standing in Milan today (the rest flew home last night).

Both the shows on my schedule came up trumps with colour (*happy dance*).

At Giorgio Armani Linda Cantello custom-blended two new Eyes to Kill Solo Eyeshadows (launching next May) - a lime green called Green Viper and a petrol blue called Scarob with Fluid Sheer to create a liquid that could be patted onto eyes.

As for the rest of the look, ' likes pale faces' Linda told me. 'He never, ever likes blush'. So the rest of the face was left au naturel.

Over at Frankie Morello Terry Barber was playing down the eyes and working up the lip. He was road testing a new tomato red matte crayon called Velvetease Lip Pencil in Lover's Lane (I'm obsessed with this new crayon).

'It's a relaxed lip,' Terry told me. 'It's worn around the edges'. A little pigment in Genuine Orange really made it pop. The matte lip was offset by a dewy complexion - MAC Mineralize Moisture SPF 15 Foundation 'gave skin a ton of moisture' while clear gloss was applied to eyelids, cheekbones and the bridge of the nose.
