Sometimes a simple plait, pony or topknot just doesn't cut it. If you're in the mood to try something new, why not give this braided, twisted up-do a try? It's super simple.

You need: 3 hairbands, some kirby grips.
Step one: Split your hair into three equal sections. The plait each section and secure with your hair elastics.
Step two: Take each plait and roll it up and pin in place.
And that's it! I didn't prep the hair or finish it with hairspray, you can just style and go; don't try to be too neat with it. This look will work great on straight, wavy, curly and afro hair you'll just get a slightly different effect depending on your hair type.
