Most summers I reach for a bright coral or a pastel green for my nails, but today I have chosen to paint my nails an opaque, brilliant white.
Despite its connotations with school days and the rebellious use of Tipp-Ex, white nail polish actually looks super fresh, modern and surprisingly grown-up. Plus, it has quite the celebrity following with stars like Kim Kardashian (click here for Kim's favourite beauty buys), Scarlett Johansson, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna and Blake Lively all having dabbled with the white hot polish in the past.
Over a coat of Dr Lewinn's Renunail, £17 (the best nail strengthener I've ever come across) I used OPI Nail Lacquer in Alpine Snow, £11 at lenawhite.co.uk followed by a layer of Jessica Top Priority Top Coat, from £7.50.
