Today I have been road-testing the teal liner look I spied backstage at the show.

Now, I'm no Karlie Kloss but I did find this look quite flattering and it was easy to do. I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Deep End. I have a natural aversion to any colourful eyeshadow - I'm a fan of neutral taupes and minks all the way so it did take a little getting used to.

Despite models at the show wearing mascara I didn't. That's because I wanted the look to be slightly edgier... no, wait, it was because it's Friday and I was feeling lazy. But! The teal liner gave my eyes definition so it didn't really matter.

I went for coffee with a PR and she said my eye make-up looked really pretty. And that was it. The only comment all day, which I take to mean the eyeliner didn't look too out there.

The only thing I will say is that in hindsight I should have concealed my eyelids with a little more care, as they look a bit vein-y (bleurgh) - those are the things a close-up eyelid picture makes you notice.

My make-up consists of Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick, a dusting of L'Oreal Paris Glam Bronze Duo Sun Powder, a whisper of Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Calypso Coral and Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Socialite - my new favourite.
