The ELLE Beauty Team have long been fans of Prada fragrances (Infusion de Tuberose and Infusion d'Iris are particular favourites) so the level of excitement was palpable when we attended the launch of its latest fragrance, Candy, at the Prada head offices in London. White musks, benzoin (a resin from the styrax tree) and a delicious carmel accord equals a total must-have fragrance. And the bottle? Whilst it's a departure from Prada's usual classic rectangular bottle and it's more than a tad reminiscent of the robot from 'Lost in Space', but the cool new shape, hot pink leather strip and amber 'juice' is bound to be a huge hit.
The television ad campaign promises to be just as chic as the fragrance, starring French cinema actress Léa Saydoux.
Prada Candy, £53 for 50ml edp launches on the 29th August and will be available nationwide
