Your M&S Beauty Buys

By Amy Lawrenson

Marks & Spencer is stepping up its beauty offering. A new look beauty department is rolling out in stores and online from now with London’s High Street Kensington branch being the first bricks and mortar store to get a makeover. Rumour had it a while back that Sephora would be opening concessions within the British high street store, but it looks like M&S is going it alone...

Moving away from just own brand beauty, its beauty experts have spent months scouring the globe for labels that will boosts the store’s beauty kudos - Dr Murad's 'transforming skincare' range from the US to Greece's natural line Apivita; it’s got a great mix of well-known, trusted brands, as well as UK exclusives to whet beauty shoppers’ appetites. Nuxe, Roger & Gallet, Skyn Iceland and Philip Kingsley, among others (there's a lot to choose from), will fill out the new shelves both in store and virtually.

The own brands are getting a revamp as well - I really like the new Limited Collection Bronzing Powder, £5, while the Autograph range is great quality grown-up make-up for every day.

But that's not all, this September M&S will be collaborating with British brand Miller Harris and renowned spa Cowley Manor on exclusive ranges, which will once again set the new M&S beauty hall apart.

We can't wait to see how this takes off...
