So as regular BND readers will know I am growing my hair. The Biotin capsules have been going down a treat and this week I discovered a new mask to help me on my quest: Ojon’s Restorative Hair Treatment.

Derived from the nut of the Ojon tree, the oil has been used for centuries by the Miskito Indians, also known as the Tawira, which translates to ‘the people of beautiful hair’. The rest as they say is history.

I’ve tried the treatment, which contains no water, preservatives or silicones. The lack of silicones means that rather than coating the hair to achieve a smooth effect, the oil works deep into the hair repairing and hydrating from the inside out.

My hair looked healthier after just one use and the makers promise regular use will keep my hair more hydrated, which means less breakage in the long run. I’m adding it to my hair-growing arsenal.
