No rest for the wicked, we barely stepped foot on Italian soil before we had to hotfoot it to the first show where James Pecis and Terry Barber worked their magic for Just Cavalli. A quick bite to eat (Caprese salad Milan-style) and then it was off to Prada, Ports and Moschino back-to-back. Here's what we saw...
Just Cavalli:
There is no doubt about it, steep side partings are going to be huge for a/w 14. Just Cavalli's minimalist, clean and uber polished version - created by James Pecis for Moroccanoil - is one of our favourites so far.

Terry Barber used a 70's inspired colour palette focusing on khaki greens, beiges and taupes to compliment the opulent gold in the collection.
Prada:

Ports:
So pretty, so timeless. Tom Pecheux used Mac Blusher in Danelion (out later this year) to give the girls a healthy flush and layered mascara on top and bottom lashes. Tom's tip - apply your blusher under your cheekbones to subtly contour.

Eugene Soulieman for Wella Professionals created a deep side parting (we told you so) and added Wella Perfect Setting Blowdry Lotion for a reflective sheen finish. This contrasted to the natural, matte texture in the back.
Moschino:
Customised pixie cropped wigs (they were still cutting one hour before show time) added to the tomboy aesthetic of the make-up.

Lucia Pieroni for Mac brushed up and penciled in strong brows and lightly contoured the eyes with Mac Cream Colour Base in Groundwork.
