Talking exclusively to ELLE last week, London-based uber-model Claudia Schiffer revealed she’s no one-scent girl.

La Lune is part of an anthology of five unisex fragrances, each named after – and inspired by – the characters you find on French Tarot cards.  In the ad campaign, the fragrances are being represented by a different model believed by Messrs Dolce and Gabbana to embody each personality. Therefore Naomi Campbell is L’Imperatrice because she’s ‘an archetype as revered for her vivacious nature as her imperious, headily overwhelming allure’. Claudia is La Lune because she ‘has long held the status of fashion’s most serene and luminous beauty.’


With sexy Le Balateur, sensual L’Amoreux and daring La Roue de la Fortune completing the set, the idea is you choose which of the five scents to spritz on, according to who you want to be that day.

Think of it as the fragrance equivalent of Stars In Their Eyes.
