I was interested to hear about a new website, which sends you samples of new products every month for just £0.99. www.latestinbeauty.com, encourages you to fill out a beauty profile, then recommends products they think will be suitable across three different categories (skin and make-up, fragrance and hair). You choose one product from each category, pay your £0.99 and receive the samples in the post. But when the ELLE team saw the samples were mere sachets, or tiny tablets in the case of make-up, we realised you could probably do better with a quick sweep around the beauty hall of your nearest department store.
