Field report: what products do the other beauty editors love?

In order to present their new range of products and treatments for the forthcoming year, Kerastase have whisked me and a host of other beauty editors off to the Hotel Splendido in Portofino (it’s a tough job but someone has to do it).

While the luxury accommodation, delicious food, endless cocktails, beautiful sea views and hot Italian sun are all absolutely lovely, the best bit is finding out what products the other beauty editors are loving at the moment.

Here are a few of the things I’ve spotted so far:

Mac Bronzer in Blush: "This is the perfect natural bronzer – it’s exactly the same shade I’d go if I went out in the sun," said its fair-skinned owner.

Leighton Denny Nail Polish in Just Perfect: This pretty coral-pink colour is adorning several sets of toes and has attracted plenty of oos and aahs from everyone else.

Dior Lip Gloss Colour Revive Balm - This non-tinted balm intensifies the natural colour of your lips and gives them a pretty, juicy sheen. One wearer also loves the fact it’s so low-maintenance, "you don’t need a mirror, you just whack it on. Done."

Several Beauty Eds have been raving about Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Makeup SPF10, a liquid mineral base that’s somewhere between a foundation and a tinted moisturiser and "gives great coverage while enhancing my natural skin tone," according to one fan.

Laura Mercier Mineral Powder SPF 15 in Warm Bronze. "I’m wearing it instead of sunscreen on my face," said this sun-kissed beauty ed.

Revlon Matte Lipstick in Pink About It – Everyone seems in agreement that the fresh shades and creamy formulations make the new matte range from Revlon very wearable - even in summer.
