Which is why I wanted to mention Clinique, who for the second year in a row have teamed up with Great Ormond Street Children's Charity to support the Kiss it Better Appeal raising money to fund research in to the causes and treatment of childhood cancer.
For every lipstick or lip gloss (from £11) bought via their website www.clinique.co.uk , £2 will be donated to the appeal. They've also created a new Different Lipstick in Kiss It Better (£12.79), a creamy, berry shade that suits most skin types, again with £2 going to the appeal.
The donation only applies in February, though, so if you were thinking of buying a new lipstick, do it today! (Or tomorrow.)
