Then there are the classic American products which haven’t yet made it over the Atlantic yet. Remember when we basically started a petition to get Maybelline Baby Lips on British soil? Plus any under the radar brands that the experts swear by.

Spotted: London, February 2014

Butter London Hydrating Balm

This balm stick, containing shea butter and avocado oil, is set to be a handbag staple when it launches next month. Use the fragrance-free balm on cuticles, lips, elbows - anywhere that's dry - to soothe and soften. Butter London's Katie Hughes even uses it to add a sheen to her cheekbones.

Topshop Cheek Gel

Little pots of glossy joy, these blushers look like jelly but have a balm texture. They melt into skin so the colour looks like it is naturally emanating from within. There are four shades launching including these two, we can't wait.

Stop the press; Nars launching limited edition nail range designed by 3.1 Phillip Lim. The range will consist of eight shades with one more exclusive to Nars boutiques. This deep purple hue in Crossroads was the chosen colour for the A/W 14 show.

Backstage at Peter Som Tom Pecheux called this blush the perfect shade for 'British rosy cheeks'. We also spotted it at Kate Spade and Zac Posen - a fashion week hat trick.

Not a new brand but one that's pretty brilliant and often goes under the radar (and all organic). Favourite of Gucci Westman, she used the Day cream and facial spray backstage at Rag & Bone to prep the girls skin.
