Su-Man launches skincare

Meet your skin's new best friend...

As you'll know if you're an avid reader of elleuk, we see plenty of skincare ranges launch every week. Ssh though, we've got a secret to tell you - this is one we've been excited about for quite sometime. If you haven't heard us rave before about the facials given by former dancer and Shiatsu practitioner Su-Man, at London's W hotel spa, then allow us to fill you in. Described as the 'non-invasive alternative to Botox', Su-Man is a genius when it comes to giving skin a complete overhaul. Her facials, which use a blend of Western technology with traditional Eastern techniques are like a total workout for your face, thanks to her ability to lift, smooth and manipulate your facial muscles and re-energise your skin.

The good news is that next week finally sees Su-Man launch her own range of products (we are breathing a collective sigh of relief here), which means you can stil get a little piece of her magic, even if you can't get to see her. Created over a four year period using cutting-edge ingredients as well as those from her native Taiwan that she's been using since she was a little girl, the six-strong range of products is centred around a powerful anti-oxidant combination of dragon's blood and rosehip oil which repair and protect the skin whilst nourishing, softening and energising. Whilst all the products look and feel ultra luxurious and pampering with textures that melt seamlessly into skin, the Velvet Skin Brightening Serum is a stand-out favourite. Its potent blend of hyaluronic acid (which plumps the skin from within) and omega oils mean skin is left glowing, plus the texture feels like liquid rose petals and is just a joy to use. After only a couple of days using it, my skin already feels softer and I've lost that pale, ghostly pallor that haunts me throughout the winter.
