They've been a scarce sight backstage over the past few seasons, with Make-up Artists favouring the bare-lash look, but this LFW falsies are making a come back. And we couldn't be happier...

Yesterday at Jean-Pierre Braganza, Mac's Terry Barber applied false lashes to the top and the bottom lash line for a '60's style, doe-eyed look'.

This morning at Holly Fulton the double-false-lash (or DFL as we're coining it) was created again by backstage master of colour and creativity, Andrew Gallimore. 'Doubling up on lashes creates a feathery, fluttery look', he told us.

Both make-up artists used dusty, light colours; Terry washed the eyes at Braganza with a dusky pink and Andrew went for lavender. But their shapes set them apart; Terry kept things classic whilst Andrew created a half moon 'halo' shape by sweeping the shadow just above the top lash line and right up to the brow. It's a modern spin on wearing pastel colours for spring. We love.

We'll be on the look out for more DFL's tomorrow...
