Blake Lively has been announced as L'Oreal Paris' latest spokesperson. She's hot on the heels of model Lara Stone who also gained the coveted role of uttering those three famous words, "We're worth it" earlier this month.

While it's not been revealed what Lively's first campaign will be, Cyril Chapuy, Brand Global President of L'Oreal Paris said of the star, 'Blake embodies all the modern codes of Hollywood glamour. She is flashing a substantial swath of upper elegance and sensuality. She has become an icon for a whole generation.'

This isn't the Hollywood star's first beauty gig, as she is currently the face of the Gucci Premiere fragrance.

Of her latest role Lively said, 'I am thrilled and honoured to join the incredible women who represent L’Oréal Paris. From the versatile and motivational Brand Ambassadors, to all the women who proudly wear L’Oréal Paris each day.

'I grew up with the inspiration of their message, “We’re worth it”. What an important value to instill in women. That beauty is rooted in confidence. That is key. That is why I’m so proud to be a L’Oréal Paris woman.'

Blake Lively joins other famous faces of L'Oreal Paris including, as well as Stone, Beyonce, Jane Fonda and Julianne Moore.
