We're always one to bring you big news first and, true to form, we've got hold of some exciting designer collaboration news for 2014. King of collaboration M-A-C (think Riri, Proenza Schouler et al), is hooking up with the boundary-breaking Pedro Lourenco. We told you about him back in 2011 when his architectural, graphic pieces became the next big thing in Browns London. So we're fall-off-our-chairs excited to get our hands on the makeup collection next year.

Expect a limited edition collection comprised of lipsticks, lipglasses, eye shadows, cream colour bases, nail lacquers and powder blush duos due in stores globally summer 2014.

Lourenco himself says:

'M·A·C is an innovative and fashion inspired brand that I have admired for years. Together, in total synergy, we created a unique and whimsical collection very much aligned with my style and M·A·C's trend setting history. I feel honored and excited to be part of this collaboration with the M·A·C Cosmetics family.'

Since Pedro launched himself on the fashion world at the age of 12 with his first collection in Sao Paolo, we're expecting something a little bit different.

James Gager, Creative Director and Senior Vice President, M·A·C Cosmetics, says: 'Pedro's exquisite approach to fashion and his unique beauty perspective at such a young age captured my attention. It is a pleasure for me to bring to life a collection with someone that has such dynamism and passion. Pedro organically understands and relates to the M·A·C Cosmetics DNA and beautifully interprets the Brazilian woman's polished yet effortless style through this collaboration.'
